Decent episode - weaker than episode 1

Steven is learning more about Marc and the milieu utilising the inventive device of a single character as the audience discovery surrogate and simultaneously the tutor. Oscar Issac plays his duality-struggle sublimely with subtle mannerism, posture and voice switching overlaid upon the palpable rage level. We learn more about Layla (May Calamawy) and Harrow (Ethan Hawke) and their history, motivation and relationship to Steven.

Some of the imagery is continued from the first episode especially the use of multiple reflections, the human statue (disappointingly expository) and the cheesy moon background. The fighting is shown directly, though the use of invisibility again contrasts implicit/explicit violence and allows some comic elements.

Plot progress and reveal are achieved, but this is not as polished as episode 1.
