Shining Girls

A promising premise, a decent cast, but a lazy implementation riddled with clichéd camera craft, ponderous pace and telegraphed temporal twists.

The very first scene is fabulous with the bee, the toy and the dialogue pointing to the nature of the two principal characters, their relationship and the distortion in time. Too much here to detail, but it hooked me right away!
