Absolutely Love it and Screw all the haters!

People need to get over their self-righteous feelings of entitlement and ownership of the Bebop storyline. The original Bebop  was great because much of the backstories and inter-character relationships were subtly implied but never defined.  It allowed the viewers to "fill in" the story on their own; the viewer participated in writing the story.  Well, now we have a version where all the extra stuff is filled in, and fans are uncomfortable because of the inherent dissonance b/w their personal version and the collective live-action version.  This version was 100% true to the original version, and I think they did a fucking great job.  The writers sampled every original episode and made it new; instead of being repetitive its representative.  In the OG we meet Julia while she is humming to Spike --> they made her a singer.  Fey never had a storyline, so they gave her amnesia (and made her sassy instead of annoying)  Jet's OG backstory was pretty weak, but this new story makes sense and is believable.  Get over it and just ENJOY it! Damn
