Douglas offers to have the social at his house so he can exact revenge on his rival dermatologist, Mark, whom Douglas is convinced stole his prized pen.

His friends are skeptical but agree to help after being offered babysitting as a bribe. ### Preparing for the Social - As preparations for the social proceed, Douglas plots revenge against Mark Rush, whom he accuses of stealing a prized pen. Meanwhile, Angie, labeled "Sloppy Poppy" from the previous year's social, vows to behave. ### The Social Begins - The social's cliques become apparent: the hippies, jocks, power couples, wannabe swingers, and the trendsetting "We'vers." Will dons a cellphone costume for his campaign, and the group tries to fit in with mixed success. ### The Plot Against Mark Rush - Douglas's plan to expose Mark as a thief by tempting him with valuables is set in motion. Meanwhile, Angie gains unexpected popularity by mocking Will, and Miggy reveals to Angie that he actually stole the pen. ### Confessions and Confrontations - Angie struggles with her newfound status among the "We'vers" who plot against Will. Dr. Monica Dewan, brought as a guest speaker by Will, becomes uncomfortable as the parents overly idolize him. ### The Unraveling - Angie deletes a potentially embarrassing video to protect Will, standing up for his genuine care for the kids despite his dorkiness. Douglas confronts Mark in a heated but ultimately reconciliatory exchange about the pen theft. ### Resolution - The truth about the pen theft comes out, clearing Mark and shifting focus to Angie and Will's actions.
