A very fun and well written coming of age superhero story.With your usual problems that come with being a teenager, a superhero and overall the management of that double life. All wrapped in neat 2000's vibes, including a nice side of classic cameos. And it could've stopped there.But this show really dared to bring up some serious stuff.Be it the death of a loved one and how one deals with it, racism you might encounter in everyday life, the issues of the homless, even juvenile gun violence and what causes it.I can see how it became a cult classic that put itself above some other shows read more

Mostly episodic. Also very small scale, I watched this back to back with Young Justice which is much larger in scale of what the kids there have to deal with. This is more everday teenage problems focused and I liked that.

I love this kids, they are believable their age and loveable. The villians/antagonist are mostly interesting characters. And I like that while Virgils father does not know about his sons super-heroing for most of the show, he is not the clichee useless adult figure of many of this kind of shows.
